Pink Fused Alumina
Our customers use pink fused alumina either as a blasting abrasive or in the manufacture of bonded/coated abrasives. The presence of chromium oxide in this material makes pink aluminium oxide both tough and durable.

- Hardness: 9 mohs
- Grain shape: angular
- Melting point: approx. 2,050°C
- Specific gravity: approx. 3.9 – 4.1 g/cm3
- Bulk density*: approx. 1.3 – 2.0g/cm3
*depending on granular size
For safety reasons, we recommend that you use a protective strainer when filling the blasting equipment.
